A new weekday morning sports show launched in the New York market this week by MSG Networks.
Hosted by basketball analyst Monica McNutt and popular sports personality Kazeem Famuyide, MSG A.M. airs daily from 8 – 9am. The new show touts providing unique analysis, opinion, news and interviews for New York sports fans, featuring an impressive list of weekly guests.
“We are looking forward to waking up with the New York sports fan and connecting with our viewers as they first start their day,” said Jeff Filippi, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production, and Executive Producer, MSG Networks. “MSG A.M. will bring a fun energy to the morning, while delivering entertaining and informed commentary around the latest news in sports.”
Weekly contributors to MSG A.M. include Jets great Nick Mangold on Monday, former Knicks sharpshooter Steve Novak on Tuesday and retired NHL forward Anson Carter on Wednesday. Knicks fan favorite Latrell Sprewell will provide analysis Thursdays, with former Giants offensive lineman David Diehl joining the show on Friday. In addition to airing weekdays at 8am on MSG, the new show is also available on the network’s live streaming and on-demand platform MSG GO.
