Vice Media International President Stepping Down

Vice Media Group will see some changes to their hierarchy as Dominique Delport, the president of international and chief revenue officer at the media outlet, is leaving the millennial-skewing media brand after less than three years.

During his three years, Delport’s role consisted of driving revenues across linear, mobile, and digital while also overseeing its global expansion plans.

Dominique Delport transitioned into a commercial consulting role effective from the beginning of November,” a Vice spokesperson said. “He remains a part of the Vice Media Group family in this capacity.”

The executive took to Twitter shortly after reports began to surface of his departure from Vice to announce that he would be returning to the entrepreneurship fold. “BOOM: Couldn’t be more excited. Back to entrepreneurship. Keep you updated soon!” Delport stated. “All my gratitude goes to the @Vice family. To my ten years, buddy @shanesmith30 who built one of the strongest brands in Media and News, to my boss #Nancy with whom we transformed and future-proofed the company and my 2,500 talented colleagues. With you forever. Keep thriving!”
