Brian Shactman, a veteran New England TV anchor, is joining the AM drive team at Entercom Hartford’s 1080 WTIC News Talk.
Shactman joins the morning show after spending the previous six years with NBC10 Boston and New England Cable News. He will host “Mornings with Brian and Ray” alongside co-host Ray Dunaway from 5:30-9 a.m. Monday through Friday.
“I have been listening to Ray for years, and WTIC is always my first stop when I get in the car,” Shactman said. “To now be a part of the WTIC team is an absolute thrill. Connecticut – the whole state – is a community. WTIC is a huge part of that community, and I am excited to help people start their day in this great state.”
Shactman has on-air experience on both national and local networks, and has garnered Associated Press and Emmy awards for his work. His experience and accolades made him a worthy hire.
