The lone local weekday show on Sacramento’s ESPN 1320 is expanding. Beginning next Monday Feb. 22, listeners will get an additional two hours of D-Lo & KC, with the early afternoon show airing from noon – 4pm.
Local standouts Damien Barling and Kenny Caraway teamed up last August for the new show, which launched in the noon – 2pm time slot. D-Lo & KC also provide a local lead-in for ESPN 1320’s simulcast of Damon, Ratto & Kolsky originating from sister station 95.7 The Game in the Bay Area. The lineup change will cut the first two hours of ESPN 1320’s simulcast.
Barling’s radio career in Sacramento spans nearly two decades, contributing both behind the mic and behind the scenes. Before joining Entercom’s ESPN 1320 last August, Barling had a stint co-hosting The Lo-Down on Sacramento’s KHTK 1140 for three years.
Like Barling, Caraway is a Sacramento native with media experience across multiple platforms as a radio host, producer and recent contributor to The Athletic.
