I’m not sure Tom Brady actually loves talk radio, but he certainly relishes the opportunity to prove his detractors wrong.
Wednesday afternoon, Brady, posted “I love talk radio,” on Twitter featuring a video that calls out some of the quarterback’s biggest naysayers. And there are a lot of them.
The hype video features negative quotes, tweets and headlines from TV and radio analysts. Shannon Sharpe, Max Kellerman, Nick Wright, all make appearances, even CBS Sports Radio’s Shaun Morash provided Brady with inspiration during his seventh Super Bowl winning season.
Brady is the best quarterback to ever step on a football field, but his continued greatness is so unfathomable at age 43 that predicting the drop-off isn’t a hot take, it’s the law of averages. For some fans, maybe it’s an attempt at speaking something into existence. But if you’re going to keep saying ‘Brady is about to fall off a cliff,’ just know that he, or whoever runs his social media account is listening.
