Former NBA superstar and current TNT game analyst Chris Webber has a blunt message for his social media haters, “F**k you.”
Webber’s career as an NBA broadcaster began more than a decade ago as a guest studio analyst. The now longtime game analyst for TNT recently joined The Complex Sports podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including how he reacts to critics of his commentary.
Just like any sportscaster, Webber sees a fair share of social media criticism. Tony Romo gets paid $18 million per year by CBS, yet social media is still far from unified in their opinions of him. Webber looks and sounds smooth on TV, but he’s been called out for biases toward certain teams and taking too long to complete a point.
The former All-Star and should be Hall-of-Famer is fine with constructive criticism, acknowledging he still hopes to get better as a broadcaster. But to the social media trolls, Webber was more blunt with his “F**k you” message.
Even if he isn’t the most popular NBA analyst on TV, Webber brings plenty of basketball experience and knowledge to each broadcast. Not all fans are going to be fond of his commentary, but Webber made it clear, he’s not trying to please everyone.
