The Five co-host Greg Gutfeld said every activity, belief, or opinion being disseminated by the media is being traced back to race. Gutfeld’s diatribe came days CNN’s Chris Cuomo suggested that criticizing Meghan Markle is an act of racism.
“Something struck a nerve with them (media),” said Cuomo. “Was it a multi-racial woman speaking out against an institutional white Royal family. Oh no, it’s no about that.”
Gutfeld ripped Cuomo for a double standard that seems to emanate from left-leaning CNN. Last week the Cuomo Prime Time host told Don Lemon that he was “black on the inside.”
The comment came as Cuomo began singing the theme song to Good Times, which featured a Black family living in Chicago.
“Racism is basically the only thing left that Chris is allowed to talk about on CNN,” Gutfeld said. “Over at MSNBC, Joy Reid can freely indulge repulsive rhetoric, smearing millions of Americans by tweeting that Conservatives would trade tax cuts for freely being allowed to say the n-word.”
