ESPN announced Charly Arnolt is set to become a full-time contributor after both sides agreed to a multi-year contract extension which goes into effect in early April.
Arnolt joined ESPN in 2018, after making a name for herself as Charly Caruso with WWE. Recently, it was reported WWE would not renew her contract, but that decision paved the way for Arnolt to go full-time with ESPN.
“It is so incredibly exciting to become a full-time member of the ESPN family,” Arnolt said in the company’s press release. “I look forward to continuing to grow with such a talented group of professionals and I can’t wait for all the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Since joining The Worldwide Leader, Arnolt has been a multiplatform asset, contributing to First Take, SportsCenter and recently launching the podcast First Take Her Take with co-hosts Kimberley A. Martin and Chiney Ogwumike. The new contract will continue to see Arnolt working on those shows in addition to regularly appearing on SportsNation and contributing to other aspects of their growing streaming service ESPN+.
