A week ago, ESPN fired NBA analyst Paul Pierce after the former Boston Celtic went on Instagram live displaying some racy content in the background.
However, Pierce doesn’t plan to stay on the sidelines for too long. There’s plenty of speculation as to where the NBA analyst will end up next. Some suggest it could be Barstool Sports as founder David Portnoy stated he would make a run at Pierce.
Whether it’s Barstool Sports or elsewhere, Pierce is working on his next move, talking to TMZ outside Il Pastaio restaurant in Beverly Hills. The former ESPN employee told the cameraman that news on his next venture could be coming as soon as next week.
“Listen, this is all I’m going to say. Stay tuned; it’s coming soon, trust me,” Pierce said. “Truth gonna bounce back like never before; that’s all you gotta know.”
