Tulsa talk show host Pat Campbell will not return to his show on Talk Radio 1170, according to All Access. Campbell, who has been at the station for the past 13 years, has been dealing with some health issues recently.
Campbell was a frequent contributor to the O’Reilly Factor and Fox and Friends for several years. He hosted the Pat Campbell Show on WFLA in Orlando, Florida from 2004 – 2008. Campbell was named one of Talkers Magazine’s 250 most influential talk show hosts in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Last year, his show on KFAQ in Tulsa made news when a Tulsa police officer sued the station’s owner, Griffin Communications, for portraying comments made to Campbell in a false light. The comments centered on the shooting of African Americans.
Griffin Communications is conducting a national search for Campbell’s replacement. Management is seeking a host who can reach the 35–54-year-old demographic. The job will require at least two years proven success on the air with proficiency in digital and social media dissemination.
