Kristin Fisher Leaves FOX News For CNN

Fox News White House correspondent Kristin Fisher is departing the network to join CNN as a correspondent covering space, The Hill reports.

This past Friday marked the final day for Fisher at Fox News. She started on the White House beat in 2019, and told Bret Baier during an appearance on his show that it would be her last on the network.

“My last live shot on my last day at Fox News, and I’ve had an incredible run,” Fisher said. “I started out six years ago on the early morning weekend shift. I made it all the way to the White House, which is something at the very top of my career bucket list ever since I was a very little girl.”

“But I’ve realized that there are a few other things on that list that I would like to try to tick off. So before I go, I just want to thank Fox for trusting me with this beat and for giving me so many opportunities. And Bret, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you, the entire White House team, and everybody on the ‘Special Report’ team as well.”

Fisher becomes that latest Fox News employee to jump to CNN. Other journalists such as Alisyn Camerota, Dave Briggs, Conor Powell, and Rick Folbaum have also joined the rival network.

  1. What a touch choice, continue to be a tiny fish in a huge lake(Fox News) or take more money to be a slightly larger fish in a swirling toilet about to be flushed(CNN) due to low ratings and no more Trump in the WhiteHouse.

  2. I thought Don Lemon was the space reporter at CNN, remember when he thought it was possible the missing Malaysian Air jet could have been swallowed up by a black hole?! Maybe they needed an upgrade in the space coverage, but why did it take them so long to realize Don needed to be replaced? I guess they don’t want to be called fake science like they are called fake news.
