77 WABC has added former Rush Limbaugh producer James Golden a.k.a Bo Snerdley to its weekday lineup. Golden has been hosting a Saturday program on the station for the last five months.
“John Catsimatidis, Red Apple Media, and WABC are proud and excited to welcome James Golden (Bo Snerdley) back home to WABC, where he co-hosted a show from 1992 to 1998,” a company spokesperson told Inside Radio.
In May, Golden announced on his podcast Rush Limbaugh: The Man Behind the Golden EIB Microphone, that he had been battling prostate cancer. His former boss, talk icon Rush Limbaugh, lost his battle with advanced-stage lung cancer in February.
Golden will continue to host his weekend show, while adding the one-hour program to his responsibilities. His show is going in the same time slot occupied by Lidia Curanaj who hosts a show called The Rundown.
In recent months, WABC has made several changes to its weekday lineup including the addition of Charlie Kirk and former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani.
