77 WABC promoted Matthew Meany to assistant program director, according to Radio Insight.
Meany joined the station seven years ago as a board operator. He was named as Executive Producer of the Bernie & Sid Show last year.
Senior Vice President of Programming for Red Apple Media, Dave Labrozzi credits Meany with the growth of Bernie & Sid’s ratings.

“Matt’s hand in the impressive growth of the morning show ratings and his desire to grow make this appointment an ideal match for him and the station,” said LaBrozzi.
In his new capacity, Meany will work with the station’s host and producers. Prior to joining WABC he worked as a producer and in promotions at WFAS White Plains, New York.
