New Jersey talk radio host Bill Spadea very candidly said he will not comply with any vaccine mandate or COVID testing that his company may require him to take.
Spadea hosts the morning show at Townsquare Media’s New Jersey 101.5. He made the comments in an op-ed piece on the station’s website.
“For the past year and a half, I’ve been reading, listening, absorbing, and relating facts to educate people and empower you to fight back against tyranny,” Spadea wrote.
Last week, President Joe Biden directed the U.S. Labor Department to request that companies with 100 or more workers mandate vaccines and weekly COVID testing. Multiple radio companies have issued mandates requiring its employees to be fully vaccinated.
“The government is out of control in Washington,” Spadea said. “The fact that the governments in Europe are waking up and reestablishing freedom for people should serve as a serious wake-up call for the United States.”
Townsquare Media has yet to announce a vaccine mandate for its employees. Spadea said the company has three choices on its next move in regard to any vaccine mandates.
“Ignore the immoral mandate, allow an exception for working at home, which I will do because it’s important to continue speaking the truth, or three — fire me.”
