RT America host Steve Malzberg is demanding that the media apologize to the Kenosha, Wisconsin police officer who shot and paralyzed Jacob Blake last year.
The Department of Justice recently revealed that it will not be filing charges against Rusten Sheskey because Blake was armed with a knife at the time of the shooting.
“No local prosecution, no federal charges, the end,” Malzberg said. “I’m waiting, and I’m probably the only one, waiting for the media to hold Vice President Kamala Harris accountable for her actions.”
Harris, as a vice-presidential candidate, visited with the Blake family days after the shooting and told Blake that she was proud of him, and said the officer should be charged.
“She (Harris) turned Blake’s whole family into some sort of civil rights icons,” Malzberg said. “Five days after the shooting Harris said the officer should face charges.”
Malzberg said the media will hold Harris accountable for her misleading comments regarding the shooting investigation, “when hell freezes over.”
RT America launched Eat the Press, a media commentary show hosted by veteran talk radio personality and political commentator Steve Malzberg last year. It airs weekly, every Friday at 6:30 pm EST with repeats on Sundays at 10:30 am.
