DraftKings, the NHL, and TurnerSports have a partnership locked in just in time for TNT to begin its regular season coverage of the NHL. The wide-ranging deal makes DraftKings the league’s official sports betting, fantasy sports, and iGaming partner.
DraftKings will gain access to the league’s assets, which means it can use official marks and logos. The company will also be able to offer themed competitions across the length of the league season.
As for Turner, its properties get quite a bit out of the deal. DraftKings will provide betting and daily fantasy content to Bleacher Report and the B/R app. It will also provide odds and data to TNT’s NHL coverage.
“Over the years DraftKings has become a brand synonymous with sports, with a fan-first approach through real-money gaming options, and we look forward to collaborating with the NHL alongside Turner Sports and Bleacher Report to provide hockey fans with what’s next in sports,” Jason Robins, chief executive, chairman and co-founder of DraftKings, said in a press release.
