Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson has received a permanent ban from Twitter.
Last week, Robinson was suspended from the media outlet following a tweet where she stated that the COVID-19 vaccine “contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked.”
Twitter promptly deleted her tweet for violating its rules, and Robinson was suspended by the social media platform for seven days, pending an investigation into her account.
Now that her seven-day suspension is up, a spokesperson for Twitter confirmed to The Hill that the White House correspondent did receive a permanent ban due to last week’s incident being her fifth violation.
Following her suspension last week, Newsmax took action and pulled Robinson from any on-air appearances as the media outlet investigated the issue.
Elliot Jacobson, executive vice president and chief content officer for Newsmax, stated that the media outlet is “a strong proponent that Covid 19 vaccines are overarchingly safe and effective.”
Furthermore, the company has also gone on to say “the vaccines contain any toxic materials or tracking markers” and noted, “such false claims have never been reported on Newsmax.”
