Newsmax’s White House reporter Emerald Robinson could be counting her days with the network as The Daily Beast reports that there’s a replacement lined up to replace Robinson.
According to the information, Newsmax will be tapping former Fox News chief D.C. correspondent James Rosen to take over the role. Rosen is currently a political reporter for Sinclair Broadcasting Group.
Twitter banned Robinson following a tweet regarding the COVID-19 vaccine stating that it carries a “bioluminescent” tracking device with satanic powers. As a result, the social media platform handed her a seven-day suspension.
The network would then pull her off any on-air duties, and then after her suspension was over it resulted in the permanent ban from Twitter.
The Daily Beast spoke to a current staffer who stated that the consensus view amongst Newsmax employees is that “she’s just going to be gone” but “nothing definitive.” Another source told the media outlet that Robinson is almost unquestionably done with Newsmax.
Furthermore, two sources also told The Daily Beast that Newsmax is negotiating with Rosen to become their new chief D.C. correspondent. “Unfortunately, we cannot comment on personnel issues,” a Newsmax spokesperson stated on the report.
