Sports betting has taken off in Tennessee and Audacy is taking advantage. The company announced today that the BetQL Audio Network will anchor a new station, 790 The Bet.
The station had been carrying the ESPN Radio lineup during the hours that 92.9 ESPN aired local programming. The new lineup features programming from both BetQL and CBS Sports Radio.

“Since launching in January 2020, the BetQL Network has given listeners a destination to obtain quality sports betting information and entertainment, while making them smarter, more well-equipped bettors in the process,” Dan Barron, Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Audacy Memphis, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to add that rolodex of content to our portfolio here in Memphis and deliver that one-stop-shop that millions of listeners are enjoying to our local audience.”
The change goes into effect on December 9. It will bring the number of BetQL affiliates across the country to 21.
