Newsmax Hires James Rosen to Replace Emerald Robinson

Emerald Robinson, a White House correspondent, remains with Newsmax, but her time with the media outlet is coming to an end.

The Hill relayed the statement made by the network stating that Robinson remains part of the company; however, with her contract expiring in January, Newsmax doesn’t plan on renewing her deal.

“Emerald is still with Newsmax; however, her contract ends in January, and we will not be renewing it,” the statement said. “We appreciate the work she has done on-air for the network.”

Robinson had her Twitter account suspended and was yanked off the air after she tweeted that COVID-19 vaccines “contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked.”

With Robinson on the way out, Newsmax also confirmed that former Fox News and Sinclair Broadcasting reporter James Rosen is taking over the White House Correspondent position.

“James Rosen is not only a reporter’s reporter but also a great thinker and author who can share complex issues on a TV screen and explain them in clear and understandable ways,” Christopher Ruddy, CEO of Newsmax, said in a statement. “We are pleased and proud to have him as a key part of our growing news team.”

Rosen departed Fox News in 2018 amid accusations of sexual harassment; he was accused of doing “overt physical and sexual overtures” to colleagues at the network.

“I am thrilled to join the Newsmax team,” Rosen said in a statement. “I’ve known Chris Ruddy for over decade and have long admired from afar his innovation and success in growing Newsmax and its brand.”
