Plenty of people across sports media are marveling at the deal Pat McAfee signed with FanDuel. It pays him $30 million per year for the net four years to make the sportsbook the official betting partner of the show. One competitor says that he is in awe of what McAfee has done.
Dan Le Batard posted a video congratulating McAfee on his Instagram page. He said that it is a great success story.
“Congratulations to Pat McAfee, man. What a ballsy move, betting on himself. Quit as a punter in the NFL because he knew he could do it on his own!” Le Batard said.
Dan Le Batard filmed the video in a bank. That seems fitting for a video celebrating a $30 million paycheck!
Like McAfee, Le Batard is producing a digital show. His show is sponsored by one of FanDuel’s top competitors, DraftKings. That isn’t stopping him from celebrating McAfee’s success.
