A West Virginia broadcasting company that delivers news, sports, and entertainment programs have announced a rebranding strategy.
According to RadioInk, West Virginia Radio Corporation, which operates 33 radio stations in six markets across the state, will now be known as WVRC Media.
WVRC Media President and CEO George Pelletier said the company must evolve to meet the changes of the communities they serve.
“We’ve expanded the content we create as well as the distribution of that content,” he said. “In addition, we offer Emmy award-winning video production capabilities, digital tactics, and solutions along with a terrific team of digital strategists who assist our customers in navigating today’s social and digital marketing environment.”
WVRC Media owns and operates MetroNews, which serves listeners in 55 counties.
