WLS-AM 890 is launching a new show featuring longtime Chicago media personality Pete McMurray. The show will also feature Lisa Kotara and Rob Martier.
“The Pete McMurray Show” promises laughter, lifestyle, and local content. The show debuts on Saturday, Feb 12th, and starts at 5:00 p.m.
“We are SO EXCITED to be back on the radio in Chicago, especially the WLS 50,000-watt blowtorch!” said McMurray in a news release.
The Cumulus Media-owned station said the show will also cover celebrities, sports, politics, social issues, and everything topical and fun in a highly listenable format that feels like an evening spent with friends.
“We are delighted to add more local programming to weekends with “The Pete McMurray” Show,” said Stephanie Tichenor, Program Director, WLS-AM 890. “Pete will entertain our listeners with Chicago-style radio infused with laughter, lifestyle, and local content.”
