Rush Limbaugh’s widow offered some advice to nationally syndicated hosts Clay Travis & Buck Sexton during an appearance on the radio to observe the one-year anniversary of her husband’s passing.
Kathryn Limbaugh discussed Rush’s legacy as the most polarizing radio talk show ever. Shortly after Limbaugh’s passing, Premiere Networks tapped Travis and Sexton to replace him in the midday daypart.
Travis asked Ms. Limbaugh what Rush would want them to know going forward.
“I think he would just want you to do what you’re doing in terms of continuing conservative thought, continuing to have people live their best lives, to remain engaged, to continue to say how important the United States is, how important our Founding Fathers are,” she said.
Limbaugh lost his battle with stage 4 lung cancer on Feb. 17, 2021. At the time, the “Rush Limbaugh Show” was heard on more than 600 radio stations across the United States.
“I think he would want you to have people actively engaged in politics, to remember November that’s coming up here soon, to remember 2024, and to call them out on things that need to be called out,” she said.
“And I know that you’re trying to do that and carry on in Rush’s honor, and that’s deeply appreciated.”
