In Ukraine, where Russian president Vladimir Putin has troops at the border and with things reportedly escalating, plenty of media outlets are looking for journalists on the ground to provide them with the latest.
Now, suppose you’re Philip Crowther, an international affiliate correspondent for The Associated Press, and can speak six languages. In that case, plenty of news television stations worldwide want him to appear to give the latest out of Kyiv.
Crowther put up a video on Twitter, where he’s providing the new details that are developing with the Ukraine crisis in English, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.
He published a montage of his reporting on Monday, which went viral and amassed more than 1.8 million views.
The AP correspondent is based in Washington, D.C., covering U.S. diplomacy, foreign policy, politics, and current affairs. However, he also reports on breaking international news stories from around the world, which is why he’s currently in Kyiv.
