Fox News’ streaming platform, Fox Nation, is teaming up with Academy-Award-winning actor, filmmaker, and Yellowstone star Kevin Costner, the network announced in a press release.
The two parties signed a deal that would see the actor help for a four-part series commemorating the 150th anniversary of Yellowstone National Park in 2022.
“Yellowstone: One-Fifty,” will launch in the fourth quarter of 2022 and consist of four one-hour episodes concentrated on the history and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park.
“Yellowstone One-Fifty exemplifies the superior creative content that we strive to deliver exclusively to our subscribers. We are thrilled to collaborate with an iconic actor and filmmaker of Kevin Costner’s caliber on this project,” Jason Klarman, president of Fox Nation, said.
Costner’s Territory Films and Warm Springs Productions helped develop the docuseries on the national park, with the actor serving as the narrator and host for all four episodes.
Up until now, Fox Nation consisted of programming from Fox News talent and other cable news stars like Nancy Grace, so this is a new venture for the streaming platform.
