One of the largest independent conservative news/talk radio networks is expanding with the recent acquisition of signals in suburban Philadelphia.
The John Fredericks Media Network has acquired WVCH AM 740 and 103.3 FM in Chester and Malvern, PA.
“The acquisition of iconic radio station WVCH in greater Philadelphia and its accompanying FM translator is an essential component of our growth strategy,” Fredericks told the website.
Fredericks’ growing network features “The John Fredericks Radio Show,” “War Room with Steve Bannon,” and “The Doug Collins Show.”
Fredericks owns four radio stations in Central Virginia and Atlanta, GA. His morning show is currently broadcast on all of his stations.
“Our proprietary network of show hosts is leading the radio industry, and our vision of all live weekday coverage and weekend live sports has resonated with both our listeners and advertisers,” said Fredericks.
The new signals will give his network reach in Philadelphia, half of Delaware — south to Dover and all of Wilmington and most of South Jersey.
The company also agreed to a partnership with digital newspapers, The Virginia Star; Georgia Star-News; and Pennsylvania Daily Star.
