Viewers of Noticias Telemundo 31 in Orlando, FL, will see a new face as Yisel Tejeda joins the news team as an anchor for its noon edition. She will be making her debut for the television station on Monday, April 4th.
Tejeda comes to the Florida-based television station from WXTV-DT, Univision 41 in New York. She worked as an investigative reporter, and, most recently, she anchored the nightly news show “Solo a las Once.”
“We are excited to welcome Yisel to our news team,” said Miguelangel López, vice president of news for Telemundo 31. “We are excited to see capable and enthusiastic journalists like Yisel returning to Central Florida to inform local communities in where they grew up.”
As López stated, it’s a homecoming for Tejeda to the state of Florida. She went to the University of Central Florida and then worked as an anchor, producer, and reporter for InfoMás in St. Petersburg, Florida.
