Fox News host Greg Gutfeld is the undisputed king of late-night television. According to a news release obtained by Barrett News Media, “Gutfeld!” marked its one-year anniversary by securing its best-performing week since its launch with total viewers. The network said the show registered 2,158,000 viewers and 365,000 viewers in adults 25–54.
“Gutfeld!” bested ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (1,699,000) and NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” (1,356,000 ).
“Gutfeld!” also outpaced CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”on Thursday and Friday of last week. The program is also up 81% in total viewers and 55% in the younger the 25-54-year-old demo versus the average of the 11 PM/ET hour the year prior.
In addition, “The Five” was the most-watched cable news program of the week with 3,570,000 total viewers and took second in cable news with 553,000 in the 25-54 demo and 329,000 in the 18-49 demographic.
“Tucker Carlson Tonight” secured the top cable news program in the 25-54 demo with 566,000 in this category and 330,000 in the 18-49 demo, and finished second in cable news with 3,520,000 viewers.
