WBEN morning show host Susan Rose is one of several candidates nominated for the 2022 Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
Rose has had a long, successful run at WBEN. She began her career there in 1985 after graduating from Buffalo State College and starting her radio news career at Lockport’s WLVL.
According to its website, every year, the Buffalo Broadcasters Association recognizes outstanding broadcasters for their dedicated career in broadcasting.
Rose co-hosts “A New Morning with Susan Rose and Brian Mazurowski” which airs daily starting at 5 a.m. Rose was partnered with Buffalo broadcasting legend John Zach before he retired in 2016.
Zach was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002.
The BBA said the person chosen for the award will be someone who throughout their career has demonstrated excellence, longevity and high standards of quality and service to Buffalo Broadcasting.
Only members of the BBA can choose a winner. The annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place in September.
