iHeartMedia’s Florida Division has new leadership as the company announced that Kim Guthrie would be taking over the president position from Linda Byrd, who will retire effective July 15th.
As part of her new role, Guthrie will oversee the operations of the Florida Division for iHeartMedia and report directly to Hartley Adkins, President of iHeartMedia Markets Group.

Guthrie brings three decades worth of experience in the industry, with her most recent position coming as President/Chief Executive Officer of Cox Media Group, a role she ascended to in late 2016.

The company is home to various news/talk stations in Florida, including Newsradio WFLA, Miami’s BIN 880, NewsRadio 610 WIOD, and 1290 WJNO.
