SiriusXM’s Howard Stern might have dropped a bombshell of a nugget when hot mics caught the radio host stating that he’s about to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While during a commercial break, Stern talked with his co-host Robin Quivers about their schedule over the summer and stated that he isn’t looking forward to his plans, which might include an appearance in an MCU film.
“They’re going over the schedule with me, and it’s gonna suck,” Stern said, per Mediaite.
“Are you working this summer?” Quivers asked. “Well, I’m gonna do Doctor Doom. But believe me, I’m f–king miserable about it,” Stern replied.
A rumored Doctor Doom adaptation has been in the rumor mill and has gotten louder, especially with the recent appearance of Mr. Fantastic during the “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” flick that was released in early May.
This is the first indication that pre-production has started on a project, and it seems Stern might have let the cat out of the bag. When asked if he was excited about the new endeavor, the radio host said, “Yeah, I called Robert Downey … I was asking him acting techniques.”
