Florida Home of Rush Limbaugh Is Being “Quietly Shopped”

The Florida home of the late radio host Rush Limbaugh is on the market with an asking price of $150 million to $175 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, the home, which Limbaugh bought in 1998 for $3.9 million, is being “quietly shopped.”

Furthermore, the property, which has 250 feet of ocean footage with immediate access to the beach, is owned by a trust of Limbaugh’s widow Kathryn. The primary house spans approximately 24,000 square feet, according to the 2010 book “An Army of One” by Zev Chafets.

“Largely decorated by Limbaugh himself, it reflects the things and places he has seen and admired,” Mr. Chafets wrote.

The report adds that the main house is in good condition; real-estate agents expressed the property might be deemed a teardown since today’s buyers prefer more modern architectural styles.

Suppose it sells for $150 million or more. In that case, the property will be among the most expensive ever sold in Palm Beach, where the luxury real estate market posted record levels of activity during the pandemic.
