An investigative journalist reporting on the case of a 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio is crediting Telemundo with getting to the bottom of a story that some pundits were calling fake news.
Megan Fox appeared on the “Glenn Beck Show” Monday. The case involves an alleged illegal migrant who has reportedly fathered a child with the victim’s mother.
“The mother is denying the police narrative,” Fox told Beck. “Police testified under oath in court on Wednesday that the report was made by the mother. The mother told Telemundo on Thursday that she didn’t make a report, and she doesn’t believe Gerson Fuentes, her boyfriend, is responsible for this rape.”
Last week, Fox News Digital reported that the Washington Post was initially unable to verify the story, which was talked about publicly by President Joe Biden.
The Indianapolis Star first reported the story and stated that the young girl had to travel from Ohio to Indiana to get an abortion.
Fox told Beck that she has sent a Freedom of Information (FOIA) request to Franklin County, Ohio, law enforcement officials seeking critical information about this case.
Conservative pundits have used this case to advance discussions regarding illegal immigration. In contrast, left-leaning pundits have used some of the facts in this case to promote narratives regarding the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
