Chris Cuomo is poised to make his return to television. According to The Hill, Cuomo will appear on NewsNation for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Dan Abrams next week.
Cuomo has reportedly been in talks with NewsNation President Michael Corn. The pair worked together at ABC. It’s unclear right now what Cuomo’s role would be at the network.
Cuomo was fired from CNN last year for allegedly using his position to influence claims of sexual misconduct against his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo reportedly filed a massive arbitration claim against his old employer citing personal damages sustained from being “unceremoniously” fired.
According to the website, the interview will consist of Abrams asking Cuomo what he’s doing now and why he was fired at CNN.
Cuomo’s termination last December culminated with former president Jeff Zucker resigning amid a sex scandal. Former marketing manager Allison Gollust also resigned.
