“The View” co-host Joy Behar discussed right-leaning pundits’ seeming obsession with some of her outlandish political takes.
Behar sat down with Time magazine for an in-depth discussion on her career and why she doesn’t mind being a scapegoat for some in the conservative media.
“I just say what I say,” she told the magazine while consuming a Caesar salad at her New York apartment. “And then they’re upset with me. I’m their favorite target over at Breitbart and Fox.”
In the article titled, “Joy Behar Won’t Shut Up,” she accused Fox News and Breitbart of “being their favorite target.”
“She’s heard all the insults. She doesn’t care what you say about her looks or her jokes, or her opinions. Behar is legitimately a bad driver—even her husband thinks so,” the article said.
In June, Behar declared called the Republican party the “party of insurrection, revolt, and violence.” She also sided with protestors who were swarming around the houses of Supreme Court Justices who overturned Roe v. Wade.
According to Time, Fox News analyst and former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, once said, “It’s never a good thing to sound like Joyless Behar.”
