Cristóbal Alex Becomes Latest Joe Biden Aide to Join MSNBC

After former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki left the Biden Administration for MSNBC, the network is adding another member who has worked alongside President Joe Biden.

During Monday’s edition of José Díaz-Balart Reports, it was announced that former White House Deputy Cabinet Secretary Cristóbal Alex would join the network as a political analyst.

Alex worked on the Biden 2020 presidential campaign as a Senior Advisor and a member of the Presidential transition. He was sworn into the Biden administration as Deputy White House Cabinet Secretary on January 20, 2021.

In May, Alex resigned from his position within the administration, much like Psaki did, and now both are working for the same network following their stint in the White House.

MSNBC state didn’t add what shows or platforms Alex will appear on. Still, with the midterm elections right around the corner, it’s like various programs at the company will be leaning on his expertise to discuss various election topics and strategies ahead of voters heading to the ballot box.
