Charlie Kirk: Majority of People Shouldn’t Go to College

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk advises students to think twice before college during his appearance on Saturday’s broadcast of “One Nation” with Brian Kilmeade on Fox News.

Kirk, who also hosts a nationally syndicated radio program, said he opted not to go to college after having the opportunity to attend both Baylor University and United States Military Academy West Point.

“Just to be clear, the vast majority of people going to college should not go,” said Kirk. “Forty percent of kids who enroll in college dropout; they don’t graduate at all. There’s, of course, a role for some people to go to college that requires some technical proficiency.”

Kirk released a new book last week called The College Scam. According to Amazon, Kirk puts the college industry on trial with a ten-count indictment of why academia has lost all credibility.

He claims universities across the country have turned the “entire value system proposition on its head.”

“Whether it be the $200,000 worth of costs that occurs for four years or the bad ideas and the woke ideologies, we are really playing with some dangerous elements here,” Kirk said.

Kirk reiterated that he encourages everyone to think twice before going to college.
