Trace Gallagher Speculates If Ex-FBI Agent Will Land TV Gig

Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher surmised that a former FBI agent who lost his job due to an alleged political bias may soon end up working for a cable news network as an analyst.

Gallagher appeared Wednesday on the nationally syndicated “Brian Kilmeade Show.”

According to the New York Post, Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was allegedly forced out after he was accused of mishandling the Hunter Biden probe.

“Republican Senators also publicly scrutinized Thibault’s alleged anti-Trump social media activity, including a retweet of Lincoln Project’s message calling Donald Trump a psychologically broken, bittered and deeply unhappy man,” Kilmeade said.

Kilmeade added that Thibault supposedly tweeted that he wanted to give Kentucky back to the Russian Federation. He said that FBI Director Chris Wray admitted earlier this month that the allegations were deeply troubling,

“I’m wondering if Thibault will start on MSNBC tonight, or do we not know when he starts on the air?” Gallagher asked.

Kilmeade said the first thing that crossed his mind after he heard the news about Thibault was which network would hire him first.

“As we watch Peter Strzok on every hour analyzing this,” added Gallagher. Strzok was fired by the FBI several years ago after becoming ensnared in the Russian collusion hoax.
