Greg Gutfeld expressed Frustration Wednesday during “The Five” when discussing the topic of immigration and the Southern Border.
Gutfeld said some of Biden’s officials are covering for each other when it comes to the severity of the mass influx of migrants coming into the U.S.
“I think Jean Pierre exists to make Kamala look smart,” he said. “I think Kamala exists to make [Alejandro] Mayorkas look smart. Maybe he (Mayorkas) would feel differently if the migrants were posting Biden memes.”
Fox News has dedicated substantial resources to covering the border crisis, keeping a reporter stationed in Del Rio, Texas regularly.
“You get the sense nobody is listening but our audience,” Gutfeld said. “I think it’s because the media only cares about the optics if it can be tethered to Republicans or law enforcement hence going after border patrol agents.”
Gutfeld suggested that the only way to fix the problem at the border is to elect a Republican.
“Not because they will fix it but because the media will do their job when a Republican is in charge and there are migrant drownings and there are 300 fentanyl deaths a day, then they could pin that on a Republican, then it’s a story,” he added.
