The newly created iHeartMedia Kentucky/Carolina Market has new leadership as Kristy Beebe takes over as president of the area.
Beebe will be responsible for all functions over seven markets in the Kentucky area, including Louisville, Lexington, and Somerset. Then, she’ll oversee Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Florence, SC in South Carolina.
The markets that Beebe will manage include 47 music, talk, and news radio stations.
“Kristy has shown success in every opportunity that has been presented, she knows how to build culture and high-performing teams,” Nick Gnau, Division President for iHeartMedia, said in a press release (h/t Inside Radio).
“Her passion for serving the community, our portfolio of assets, and her team makes her the perfect choice to lead this newly developed Area. I look forward to working with Kristy and watching her continued successes over the seven markets in the Kentucky/Carolina Area.”
Beebe most recently served as Market Manager of iHeartMedia Indianapolis and has experience in the Kentucky market as she served as the vice president of sales.
