Rudy Giuliani Goes off on Ex-Wife Amid Divorce Payment Issues

77 WABC Radio host Rudy Giuliani defended himself Monday from reports that he’s fallen behind in divorce payments to his ex-wife. Giuliani appeared on “Bernie & Sid in The Morning.”

According to WNBC-TV, Judith Giuliani had asked the judge to hold her former husband in contempt for falling behind on his payments under their 2019 divorce settlement.

“My ex is owed probably somewhere around $40,000, I’ve paid her around $45,000 and she wants $200,000,” he said.

Giuliani told Rosenberg that he’s having trouble retrieving financial records from the bank, adding that he didn’t get notice of the court date.

“She does this all the time,” said Giuliani. “She wanted to sue me a few years ago because she was entitled to 10% of everything I make. She’s only entitled to 10% of what I make if I write a book about that period of our life.”

Rudy and Judith Giuliani were married for 15 years.

“The only reason I can’t give her the rest is because I can’t get the checks,” he said. “She plays games but I don’t spend a lot of time bashing her because we have a non-disparagement agreement and I am just answering this to defend myself.”

Giuliani stated that his affiliation with former President Donald Trump makes him an easy target for sensationalistic media reporting.

“This is nothing compared to some of the lies that have been told,” he said. “This has a basis in truth with exaggeration.”
