Howard Stern Doesn’t See ‘Problem’ With Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes Affair

There are many opinions regarding the love affair between “Good Morning America” co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. However, SiriusXM host Howard Stern believes the media is blowing this situation out of proportion.

Stern referenced a report from the Daily Mail in which “GMA” co-anchor Robin Roberts says she was “very upset” regarding the relationship between the married third-hour co-hosts of ABC’s morning show.

“I don’t know, I kind of feel like, again, maybe I’m not seeing the problem here, but if those two work together and they wanna b-ng and be in love, what do I give a sh-t? Why is that like offensive to people?” Stern told his co-host Robin Quivers (h/t New York Post).

While Stern might not see a problem, some ABC staffers reportedly believe the two should be fired; however, Stern doesn’t think that should be the case.

“People are saying they should be fired,” Stern said when asked why people are offended about the high-profile affair. “I’m saying, really? Why would they be fired? So someone told me, ‘Oh, they’re supposed to report it to HR.’

“And that to me is a little unrealistic. In other words, at what point do you go to HR and say you’re carrying on with one of your coworkers? Do you go, ‘Uh, oh, I’m attracted!’”

To calm the wildfire storm, ABC News President Kim Godwin informed staffers that Robach and Holmes would be benched from their anchoring duties as the company decides what to do next.
