ABC News Studios and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick are teaming up for a new true crime docuseries on Hulu beginning in January.
The partnership between the two is part of ABC News Studios rolling out three new true crime docuseries on the streaming platform.
“Killing County” takes a look at Bakersfield, a big city with the soul of a small town deep in California’s heartland, where things are not always what they seem,” ABC News noted in their press release.
“A deadly hotel shooting makes the Ramirez family question everything they know about their town. Desperate to find out what really happened to their loved one, they soon learn they are not alone in their tragedy and fight for the truth.”
ABC News Studios produce the docuseries in association with Kaepernick Media, with Robe Imbriano and Kaepernick serving as executive producers. “Killing County” premieres on Jan. 26 and is narrated by André Holland.
Regarding the other series’ slated to debut next month, “Death in the Dorms” premieres on Jan. 5 and “Web of Death” premieres on Jan. 19.
