FOX Sports’ broadcast of Creighton’s win over DePaul on Christmas Day was the most-watched college basketball game in the network’s history.
Just under 3 million viewers tuned into the contest, with an average of 2.99 million viewers on FOX.
The game aired directly following the network’s NFL contest, which saw the Green Bay Packers face the Miami Dolphins. That game was the largest NFL audience of the weekend, according to FOX Sports.

In addition to being the most-watched college basketball game in FOX Sports history, the Creighton/DePaul matchup was also the most-watched college basketball game on any network in the early stages of the 2022-2023 season.
