Elizabeth Vargas Joining NewsNation for New Weekday Show

Elizabeth Vargas is joining NewsNation for a new weekday show that will launch in April.

Elizabeth Vargas Reports will air at 6:00 PM ET, featuring one-on-one interviews with newsmakers, as well as conversations with NewsNation journalists.

“I am thrilled to join the NewsNation team. The mission of NewsNation is more important now than ever — delivering the news and newsmakers to all of America, and to cover the issues that truly matter to everyone, everywhere,” Vargas said. “I can’t wait to begin.”

Vargas currently hosts the syndicated show iCrime. She has previously hosted America’s Most Wanted after spending 15 years at ABC anchoring shows like 20/20, Good Morning America, and ABC World News Tonight.

Vargas guest hosted shows at NewsNation in September of last year, hosting NewsNation Prime while Marni Hughes transitioned to a different timeslot.
