Dilbert creator Scott Adams has come under fire for his comments about a recent poll regarding the feelings of Black Americans. He was defended by Twitter owner Elon Musk, who said the media has always been racist, and now The Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro is in agreement.
While defending Adams, Musk simply stated “The media is racist”.
“This was pointed out by Elon Musk yesterday, to the great consternation of the media,” Shapiro said. “Scott Adams — the creator of Dilbert — said some racist stuff. The stuff that he said was he was looking at a poll. This poll suggested that 53% of Black Americans said it was ok to be white…26% disagreed with the statement that it’s ok to be white.
“What Scott Adams then said about that polling data was suggesting that Black people — as a whole — were a hate group, which is indeed racist…if you took the word ‘Black’ and substituted the word ‘White’ in Scott Adams’ actual statement, what you would end up with is something that would get you featured on mainstream media as genius level commentary. Because the simple fact of the matter is, media is totally fine with anti-White racism.”
Shapiro then added that media members were angry with Musk for stating something he believed was already clear to impartial observers.
“People in the media are very angry at Elon Musk for pointing out the obvious, which is that you can full acknowledge Scott Adams’ racism, and still also recognize that the media would be totally fine if Scott Adams’ racism was directed in the reverse at white people.”
