ESPN Wants To Be Hub For All Streaming Sports Services

A concern many sports fans have is finding where a game their interested in watching is streaming. ESPN reportedly has a solution for that problem.

According to a report from CNBC, ESPN has had conversations with sports leagues and media entities about launching a feature on ESPN.com and its app that will link viewers directly to the game they would like to see.

The feature wouldn’t only be for games it produces and airs on its platforms, however. It would encompass all national and global streaming sites, including AppleTV+, Bally Sports+, Amazon Prime Video, and MSG+, among others.

CNBC claims regional sports networks have been receptive to the idea, stating they have “expressed particular optimism”.

ESPN currently only provides direct links to games it produces or televises, which encompasses a robust 30% of all televised sporting events. However, the goal with integrating streams from other carriers and channels into its app and website would continue to cement itself as the worldwide leader in sports and the first place sports fans go for live sports.
