March Madness begins next Tuesday, and CBS and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced their broadcast crews for the NCAA Tournament.
Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill will make up the top announcing team. Tracy Wolfson will work as the broadcast’s sideline reporter.
After announcing every Final Four for CBS since 1991, 2023 marks the NCAA Tournament swan song for Nantz.
“It is time with two young children and an older daughter that I spend more time at home,” Nantz told The New York Post in October as he announced the move. “‘Daddy needs to be home.”
Ian Eagle will replace Nantz as the voice of the Final Four.
“It’s his time,” Nantz said. “I will support him 1,000 percent. He doesn’t need my support. But I’m absolutely thrilled for him. He’s a great teammate. He’s been right in the middle of this NCAA Tournament for a long, long time.”
Eagle will be joined by Jim Spanarkel in the booth in 2023. Evan Washburn will serve as the sideline reporter.
The announcement of the broadcast crews also confirms that Stan Van Gundy will replace Reggie Miller as a game analyst for Warner Bros. Discovery. Van Gundy has previously worked as an NBA game analyst for TNT.
Other NCAA Tournament booths include:
Brian Anderson, Jim Jackson, Allie LaForce
Kevin Harlan, Dan Bonner, Stan Van Gundy, Lauren Shehadi
