Baseball fans looking to follow their favorite minor league teams this season will be able to find game broadcasts on Bally’s casino’s app and watch for free thanks to a new agreement.
Major League Baseball has partnered with Bally’s to make broadcasts for all 120 minor league teams available on the Bally Live app.
As has been the case with MiLB contests, there are no blackout restrictions for fans to watch games in their hometowns.
Betting on minor league games will not be allowed, but Bally’s will allow app users to access free games related to the broadcasts. They can, however, bet on MLB games and other sports.
Bally’s is the naming rights holder to the 19 Diamond Sports Group regional sports networks, but the casino operator has no production or broadcast control. Last week Diamond Sports Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
